The Foundation of Conservatism

Filed under: Politics — Robert @ 10:52 pm

I’ve been wanting to write something that describes, at a foundational level, what the source of conservative values and political thought are. But it turns out I don’t need to.

  1. Very funny… The fact that some people actually think this is quite humorous.

  2. I dunno, Vilon. 4 out of 10 of them seem fairly evident to me.

Then again, I found it quite funny that people actually think like those theories that Karl Marx jotted down. Sure, one or two make sense. But the package as a whole is ludicrous. As is/was Ayn Rand’s Objectivist philosophy. As was the Democratic Platform of 1996 when you read the whole thing. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear someone put down the Bible and scream, “Enough with the freakin’ begats already! We get the point! Gah! No wonder there are people that don’t believe this stuff happened!”
