White House advisor Karl Rove was informed by special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald that no charges against him would be filed.

The left blogosphere is currently on suicide watch.

  1. Well, not necessarily suicide watch.

But I have to wonder… Who then is on the receiving end on (Sealed) vs. (Sealed)? Of course, that was a Jason Leopold story, who has the credibility of a half-drowned rat caught chewing through a brick of mescaline and crapping on a pile of late-’60’s Playboy magazines, but the case as told actually does exist.

But it sure would’ve been nice to see the faces of those at YearlyKos when that little tidbit was announced.

  2. I wonder what sort of deal he made to avoid prosecution?

One would think he would have to offer to take down a pretty big fish to avoid it.

  3. I wonder what sort of deal he made to avoid prosecution?

I suspect it was that fiendishly clever “don’t commit any crimes” deal.

That’s possible, of course, but we’re still left with a problem. Clearly a serious crime was committed, there are only a limited number of people who could have committed it, but nobody is being brought to book for it.

And the right blogosphere seems to be remarkably unconcerned about this.
