insomnia sure sucks, doesn't it. i've got a friend who gets up in the wee small hours of every morning, makes coffee, and starts working. i can't do that. it would mess me up the next day. severe insomnia just ruins my whole day. i drink tea with valerian these days. i took melatonin once, messed up my brain even more. i don't do pharmaceutical sleep drugs. those don't work too well for my high maintenance brain. physical exercise helps. those who have never experienced sleep deprivation have no idea what it's like, just as those who have never been a little helter skelter have no notion of what it is like to live on a different plane from everyone else, and think that doing their little research by reading a book by a popular author gives them all the answers they need to judge others on an issue of which they know next to nothing.
