I watched “The Long Way Home” on PBS tonight. The little one watched it with me — I thought about turning it off for his sake, but then I decided to leave it on. We had a long talk about the Holocaust and he was surprisingly lucid on the details of how it came about. All of it is really beyond my ability to fathom.
