Here’s something that caught my attention today: the Fordham Spire.

Not yet sure what to make of it, but it appears that it’s going to be built, as the Chicago planning commission approved it last month. It will be the tallest building in North America, exceeding the Sears Tower. Apparently, Donald Trump is displeased that his own tower in Chicago, now under construction, won’t be quite the new darling on the block anymore, even though it ranked third in height behind the Sears Tower and the John Hancock.
whooooa…and at least it’s cool looking, too. Not dull and rectangular.
What the heck are they going to use it for, though?

Condos. Very … expensive … condos.

I’m afraid that the contract for these condos specifies that you do, physically, have to pay out of your ass to live here.

Absolutely gorgeous. 2000′?! Useless and vain, but the sense of awe is overwhelming.
